Paiute Police is busy ramping up several projects to better serve the Bishop Paiute Tribal Community:

Federal Law Enforcement Status
(Special Law Enforcement Commission or SLEC) under the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Applications are submitted and waiting approval.
New Communication Center

For safety Dispatch and improvements in real-time communications.

Tribal Traffic Code
Includes provisions relating to the establishment of authority and enforcement procedures, statement of the rules of the road, and other safety provisions.
Additional Tribal Police Officers
To better serve the tribal community and to ensure adequate officer staffing.

Main office is located at 50 Tu Su Lane in Bishop, California, adjacent to the Bishop Paiute Tribe’s Administrative Offices.

Tuesday – Friday 8am – 6:30pm
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
